CAA Members Step Up To Fight Hunger

Posted By: Andrea Brady Industry,

On January 24, CAA hosted a peanut butter & jelly food drive benefiting Move for Hunger during our New Year Kick-off Event at Morgan Manufacturing. Peanut butter is highly requested by food banks because it’s a great source of protein, and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches are a nutritious, delicious meal for people of all ages. We are thrilled to report that our members donated 270 lbs of food, which is enough to provide 225 meals! Our friends at MiniMoves and CORT were a great help and deserve a shout out! MiniMoves donated the collection boxes for the event, and CORT Chicago picked up the food and delivered it to the Schaumburg Food Pantry. More than 659,000 people in the Greater Chicago area are food insecure. Thank you to our amazing members and partners for making a New Year's resolution to fight hunger!
