DE&I Scholarship Program
About the Program:
The Pathways to Excellence: DE&I Sponsorship Program was created to break down barriers and open doors for companies in the Chicagoland apartment industry that are committed to building more diverse and inclusive workplaces.
This is a one-time initiative. Five companies will be selected to receive a complimentary one-year CAA membership (valued at up to $1,000) and free access to two CAA events, along with mentorship and peer networking opportunities.
Program Goals:

Break down barriers to professional development for companies and individuals from diverse and underrepresented backgrounds in the apartment industry.

Provide access to workforce development, continuing education, and networking that supports a culture of inclusion.

Increase access to key industry resources and networks that empower employees and businesses to advance their success.
Who Can Apply?
This program is open to apartment management companies, property owners, and supplier partners that are located in the Chicagoland area who prioritize diversity and inclusion in their workplace. Participants must be willing to participate in at least one CAA DE&I-focused event during the membership year. This program is designed for companies who are not yet part of the CAA community. Current and previous CAA members are not eligible.
This program is specifically designed for companies owned or led by individuals from historically underrepresented communities, including:

What You'll Receive:
One-Year CAA Membership (valued up to $1,000)
Five companies will be selected
(1) independent rental owner
(2) owner/operators
(2) supplier partners
Each receives:

Full access to all CAA events and programs for one year

Marketing and visibility features in CAA communications

Access to mentorship and peer networking opportunities

Free Access to two CAA events. Each selected company may send up to two guests to two CAA events at no cost.

Eligible events include NYKO, Golf Outing, Preview, and Business Exchange. D/N include tickets to CAMME.

Benefits are for the calendar year only and cannot be transferred to another company and do not carry over.
