This course was designed to keep everyone up to date on new laws and guidelines. Knowing how to identify unintentional acts can help reduce fines. HUD issued a new "Clean Slate Act" based on non-violent crimes involving sealing records for over 2 million people in Illinois. HUD's newest focus is on mandatory criminal screening, emphasizing property safety. Also, recognizing hoarding situations and accommodating service animals will be included.
