Once you have registered above, use CAA’s three-step guide and the District Locator to email your 2 state legislators to alert them of your presence in Springfield on April 29th (see guide for a sample email).
- Formal meetings in Springfield are unlikely, so letting legislators know you hope to connect with them that day gives you a greater chance of communicating with them (whether it be in the hallway outside of a hearing, on the way to their next meeting, etc.). If they do have meeting availability between 1:00 and 2:00pm, please agree to a sit-down meeting (though it is not necessary).
Thank you for completing this in advance of April 29th. Until then, please be on the lookout for communications from me regarding CAA Advocacy Day in Springfield. With so many dedicated members, we know it will be a success!
