Just when you thought you knew everything about fair housing, along comes some real life situations to make you stop and listen.  What is discriminatory?  We will analyze, in an interactive setting, actual complaints against owners and managers, and learn from the rulings.  How does a housing provider determine if a person poses a direct threat to themselves or to other residents?  What constitutes “dangerous?"  Your good intentions in helping someone may turn into a violation of a tenant’s rights.

   * Recognize when your good intentions become a violation of a tenant's rights
   * Learn the differences between Reasonable Accommodations and Reasonable                Modifications and who pays for them
   * Identify potential problems with print ads and online advertisements
   * Understand that "referrals" are considered Licensed Activity
