Live Virtual: Certified Pool Operator (CPO)

Register for the Two-Day Virtual class
➢ You will receive a letter with the class information, Pool & Spa Operator Handbook, and worksheets to complete prior to class.
➢ Day 1: review chapters from handbook, worksheets, and supplemental handouts
➢ Day 2: final review and then you take the exam

Requirements/Materials for CPO Classes
✓ Computer and/or Laptop with camera or attached webcam, microphone, or telephone that so you can dial into a meeting and communicate with the class
✓ Student must be visible to the instructor during virtual class and exam

For the Virtual Class Exam Online
➢ Virtual exams will be taken on the second day of class. Classes begin at 8:00am and will start with teaching the remaining chapters from the handbook. We will then review the homework worksheet which is the final review before the exam.
➢ Heavy emphasis on Regulations and Standards as set by governing agencies will also be covered on the worksheets that include codes and regulations, math, and exam reviews.
➢ Lunch break is from 11:30am to 12:00pm.
➢ At 12pm the student will log back onto the GoToMeeting session
➢ Before login back onto the GoToMeeting Virtual Class, you will check your email for the Voucher Code to the Portal so that you can take the exam.
➢ Student must always be present and visually seen by the instructor during the exam.
➢ The exam results will be verified by PHTA who will then email or mail the Certificate when it is ready.
