EDUCATION CONFERENCE SCHEDULE

“Artificial Intelligence & You: Finding Your Fit in a Shifting World”

Presented by: Steve Matre

Well, here we are. It all seems so confusing. Artificial Intelligence is speeding ahead. Companies are rolling out A.I. solutions to tackle major challenges, and their vendor partners are riding the wave: offering add-ons and stand-alone tools that promise greater productivity and efficiency. Meanwhile, employees are still navigating the same core questions: How do I grow my career? What should I learn next? How do I plan for long-term success in a world that keeps changing? The important thing to remember is that YOU are essential to the future. This session will help you explore where A.I. is headed and how to keep moving confidently toward the career you’ve envisioned. No panic needed, just a little perspective, some smart future-proofing, and helpful tools to get started. You’ll leave this session feeling clearer, stronger, and more ready to take on what’s next.

“Why You Gotta Be So Mean?”

Presented by: Lisa Trosien

Today’s apartment professionals are noticing a shift—residents, prospects (and sometimes even co-workers) are more easily frustrated, harder to satisfy, and often quicker to express dissatisfaction. This growing tension is fueled by a mix of economic uncertainty, political division, and personal financial stress. So, how can your team stay calm, connected, and effective in the face of rising resident frustration? This session will teach them how to handle it, plus they will:

  • Understand why residents are tougher than ever to deal with
  • Improve overall resident satisfaction
  • Support your team’s emotional resilience as well as your own
  • Understand the effects of displacement and emotional contagion as it relates to your teams on-site and in the corporate office

Join us for a lively, interactive, and often humorous session that will leave you better equipped to manage challenging resident, prospect and co- worker interactions—while helping to create a more positive, balanced community environment.

Social Media 101: Hands-On - Panelists TBD

Sessions are only available to those who register for the full conference option.  Sessions are 55 minutes and each one counts as 1 continuing education credit towards National Apartment Association (NAA) designations.
