Pritzker & CDC Extend Moratoriums; Chicago, Cook County, and State of IL Vaccination Rollout

On Friday, Governor JB Pritzker issued Executive Order 2021-04 that extends the eviction moratorium through March 6, 2021. The terms of the moratorium are unchanged from the previous order. A week previously, the Center for Disease Control (CDC) re-issued its eviction moratorium through March 31, 2021.
The City of Chicago began Phase 1b of vaccination on Monday, January 25th. Professionals in the multifamily industry, which is an 'essential' industry, will be eligible for vaccinations in Phase 1c. Chicago expects for Phase 1c to begin in April at the earliest.
There are 3 main ways that Chicago businesses employing essential workers can help their employees get vaccinated:
  1. Enroll as a vaccinator. Visit the City of Chicago provider page for detailed instructions on how to enroll.
  2. Partner with a third-party vaccinator. If this is a good option for your business, you should begin to approach those third-party vaccinating partners.
  3. Complete this survey for vaccination at a City of Chicago Point of Dispensing (POD) site. This survey is prioritized for businesses with fewer than 250 employees across all locations.
