Can You Help Those In Need?

My Block, My Hood, My City is a Chicago-based organization providing underprivileged youth with awareness of the world and opportunities beyond their neighborhoods. Due to recent events, they have launched a Small Business Relief Fund to support the rebuilding of small businesses damaged during the civil unrest, particularly in under-resourced Black communities. They are also seeking individuals with construction skills and supplies who can give their time and resources to help small business owners repair and rebuild.

There has never been a greater need than now to provide meals to families, children, seniors, and vulnerable communities. Move for Hunger needs our help in their ongoing mission to reduce food waste and fight hunger. They are helping food banks throughout our region meet the demands during these unprecedented times. Have residents who are moving out? Want to engage your community in a food drive?

The multifamily housing industry can have a significant impact in creating change and social responsibility during these times. With so many ways to get involved, we hope you will join us. Together, let’s make a difference.
