CAA Testifies on City Budget

Advocacy News,

CAA EVP Michael Mini testified yesterday on behalf of apartment owners and managers at a hearing on the City of Chicago 2016 budget. Mini told members of the city council that the proposed property tax increase and expanded homeowner exemption will cost apartment owners $380 per year, or $32 per month, on average. And those costs will eventually be passed on to residents in the form of higher rents. Read CAA’s complete testimony here.
